Passion for Saving’s Ghost Cupcakes

Manageability – Hauntingly simple.

The world of Halloween costumes has become unnecessarily complicated. Some stupid pop culture reference like Lil Xanax? Air-pump T-Rex? Sexy Rudy Giuliani? What ever happened to the good ol days when Halloween was simple. Throw a sheet over your head and call it a ghost. That’s what I miss. And these Ghost Cupcakes from Passion for Saving fit that standard perfectly. Simple, fun, Halloween.

And this was so simple, boys and ghouls! You can literally make any cupcake recipe you want, but the fun is in the decoration. Not only are these cute but I love love LOVE a lot of icing on my cupcakes. Plus, this icing is really creamy and delicious. I used little chocolate chips for the eyes and mouth, but I had also seen people using mini M&Ms. Either way, I ain’t afraid of these little ghosts.

Go get these for Halloween, and let’s return to simple/fun.

  • 1 box Chocolate Cake mix + box ingredients

  • 7 oz Marshmallow Creme

  3. Gradually add in powdered sugar until incorporated.
  4. Fold in marshmallow creme.
  5. Transfer to piping bag with a round tip.
