Manageability – You got a freezer.
America was founded on two basic principles: freedom and laziness. And I spend every waking moment of my god-given USA-ness being both of those things. So when I had an opportunity to make my own bomb pops – you know, like the ones the ice cream man used to sell? Well I tell you what, child, the best option is to make the Creamy Lemonade Bomb Pops by Meg’s Every Day Indulgence.
If you got a blender, a freezer, and time? You got bomb pops. Plain and simple. With the amount of time they take, I get now why they cost the extra $0.75 on the truck. Starting with strawberries and frozen yogurt, just make your way down the recipe piece by piece until you’re done, building each layer, blend-by-blend. One important point is that the “one hour” freezing time in between is not accurate. Mine bled together just a touch. But my favorite is the middle layer because the lemonade sweetness with the creamy yogurt was THE BEST, and so refreshing. But also, the final layer (blueberries) were a tiny bit … chunky? That’s not the word… I’ll explain it like this – when you are done, you should floss.
So get out there America! And if you hear the ice cream man, tell him to suck it!
