Manageability – Easy as ghost pie.
When I heard there was a new Ghostbusters reboot coming out, I went through a range of emotions. Excitement, followed by optimism and nostalgia, then a hint of hunger and anger, and finally “hanger”. Look, I’m hungry, I got ghosts on the mind, and it’s nearly Halloween. So I got off my butt, ran to my haunted kitchen, and made myself a homemade Land O Lakes Halloween Pizza!
I don’t make a lot of pizza dough from scratch, but honestly this was not a big deal at all. It only had to rise for 10 minutes, so that’s nothing. The Alfredo-ish creamy garlic sauce is really tasty, and I happen to love chicken on a pizza. It’s an underrated topping. I guess my only real complaint about this one is … how do you cut it? Can’t really get a reasonable slice like a circular pizza. I ended up eating the head all by myself, and dipping the extra crust into a leftover Papa John’s Garlic Butter packet. Oh yes, I keep them. Altogether, a successful, easy, fun dinner for the spooky season.
