Manageability – Bake and eat and save some for me.
An OREO is a name brand of cookie. Typically dipped into milk, this chocolatey, icing-filled cookie sandwich comes in regular, thin, and “double-stuff”, and are safe to eat for vegans because they aren’t real food… Ok, that’s enough about the history of OREOs. If you’re some kind of weirdo cookie historian, go look at the Wikipedia. If you want a delicious unique warm desert that hits the spot and you love OREOs, make this Oreo Stuffed Bread Pudding from Mom Unleashed. Then invite me over to eat some with you.
Let’s clear up something real quick – this is an English style pudding. Not some lunchtime, snack pack, Bill Cosby goop. This is the real deal. It’s a bread-based desert with a sweet and sticky cream absorbed into the dough, and with this recipe you add OREO cookie chunks on top for that extra EXTRA. I should warn you this recipe requires you to allow the cream to rest in the pudding for a period of 2 hours before it’s ready to bake, so don’t expect your desert immediately. I should also point out that the glaze really kicks this pudding over the edge. It compliments the OREOs perfectly. Think of Thanksgiving stuffing, then make it a fire dessert. Mmmm.
And just to send you over the edge, put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top after it bakes, so you get the warm and the cold. This is real pudding. Fuck Bill Cosby.
