Manageability – Refreshingly simple
Let’s face it, March was rainy bullshit. All this social distancing and wearing masks is stressing me out more than my student loan debt, except I can’t just ignore this and hope it gets forgiven one day. So I wanted a refreshing and well-balanced cocktail to sip on a warm April night, and Domesticate Me’s Strawberry Thyme Cooler was the next best thing to petting a stranger’s dog.
Light, fruity, sweet, and relatively simple. As liqueurs go, St. Germain lends itself to a cocktail with real muddled berries because there’s something about the combination of flowery and sweet/tart that really hits the tasty spot. Just be sure to stick to the measurements in this recipe and leave room for club soda, so that you don’t overpower that delicious balance with vodka.
Now if only this damn pandemic would go away so we can get drunk together. Suck it, coronavirus.
