Manageability – Relatively simple, and real cute.
Easter is a time of happiness and joy and Jesus and all that crap. When hosting your meal, you’ll want a place setting that’s manageable and cute, without wanting to pull all your hair out because you are about to make food for 18 crazy family members. I therefore recommend the above – my Easter place setting with tulips and pressed flower cameos.
The best part about this place setting is that it’s better than Easter – you could use this to make your table adorbs any time of the year with a few slight adjustments. Just fold your napkin over so it creates a little pocket, like a tiny kangaroo that cleans your mouth. Insert the chain from a cameo. My cameos all included pressed flowers, which gave them a springtime feel, but you could just as easily use tiny American flags or fireworks. I used a little bit of jewelry and metal glue to place the flowers and keep the cameos together. They also made a nice parting present for my guests. Finally, I used a single fresh tulip at each place setting to round out the Easter feel.
Were my guests impressed? Actually, I’m not sure because a lot of them were children. I was happy with them, so who cares.
